Order and Warranty Information

To Order

For assembled products, e-mail us with your requests.  If you need additional information please contact us via e-mail, or by writing to us at the address below.

For replacement parts and materials, refer to the Replacement Parts page to get the item order number and price.  E-mail your request, or write directly to us.  Please indicate your choice of shipping method.  For U.S. shipments we've had excellent results using the U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail/ Insured, Delivery Confirmation as a "best value" choice.  "Snail-mail" orders should be sent to:

We'll notify you with an Order Confirmation and control number upon receipt, and inform you of shipping charges including insurance, and when your order will ship.  Although we try to maintain adequate inventory levels of all items, some items may be temporarily out of stock at the time of order.

Warranty

All parts are sold with a 90 day parts and labor warranty from date of shipment unless otherwise stated.  This  warranty is against any defect in workmanship or failure due to defective materials.  This does NOT include failure or damage caused by improper handling, negligence, unauthorized repairs, non-standard parts, or shipping damage.  Fischer-Freitas Company or it's authorized representative reserves the right to make a final determination as to validity of claim.
 
Factory assembled systems, power supplies, assembled circuit boards and other assembled  products are warranted for two years from date of shipment for defects in workmanship or failure EXCEPT specified products subject to abnormal or unpredictable use such as our EXT-PLUS and CP-A (when used in a non-factory configuration).

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to determine the suitability of those items within the warranty period, and to notify Fischer-Freitas Company of any problem, damage, or discrepancy.

Customers with warranty claims must contact Fischer-Freitas Company prior to returning items, and to get a Returned Material Authorization number (RMA number).  Fischer-Freitas Company reserves the right to refuse any claims submitted without an RMA number.

Warranty claim items must be returned to Fischer-Freitas Company or it's representatives freight and insurance pre-paid and in the original packaging material or suitable equivalent.  Improperly or poorly packed items may be prone to additional shipping damage that may NOT be covered under warranty. 

Items submitted for warranty may be repaired or replaced at the sole discretion of Fischer-Freitas Company or it's authorized representatives.  The customer will be notified of the decision prior to returning the item.

Warranty items will be returned to the customer freight and insurance pre-paid by Fischer-Freitas Company.

Items not covered under warranty will be repaired or replaced for a reasonable service charge with the customer's authorization, but not to exceed the original cost of the item. 

Terms:  Orders amounting to $500.00 or less must be pre-paid.  Orders over that amount must be accompanied with a 30% deposit, balance due at time of shipment.  Payment by check may be subject to delay in shipment until funds are verified.  Credit cards are welcome through PayPal http://www.paypal.com, and our Premiere Business Member account is:    trf@imsai.net

Method of shipping  may be confirmed at time of order, the expected shipping date and Order Confirmation number will be issued by Fischer-Freitas Company at that time.  All items are shipped insured for the value of the shipment.

California residents must add 7 1/4% sales tax.

Return policy:  Items returned for credit are subject to a 20% restocking charge, and will only be accepted under the following conditions:
bulletCustomer must notify Fischer-Freitas Company in advance of intent to return an item for credit.  A Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) number will be issued to the customer at that time.
bulletItems for return must be unused and undamaged upon receipt at our place of business.  It is the customer's responsibility to ensure proper packaging and careful handling.  Items must be shipped freight pre-paid and insured for the value of the contents.
bulletPackaging must have a Fischer-Freitas Company RMA number clearly noted on both the outside packaging and inside the packaging, along with a letter explaining the reason for return.
bulletItems returned with freight damage will NOT be credited, but will be returned or forwarded to the carrier for damage claim at the customer's expense.
